1 New Colours
The Triumph Speed T4 is now available in four eye-catching tri-colour combinations, which significantly enhance its aesthetic appeal. The colour selections include Caspian Blue/Pearl Metallic White, Lava Red Gloss/Pearl Metallic White, Phantom Black/Pearl Metallic White, and Phantom Black/Storm Grey. These new paint options impart a sophisticated and sporty appearance to the Speed T4.
2 Pricing and Rivals
Triumph has lowered the price of the Speed T4, thereby increasing its accessibility for riders. The motorcycle is now priced at ₹1.99 lakh (ex-showroom). This adjustment positions the Speed T4 as a formidable contender against other motorcycles in the segment, including the Royal Enfield Classic 350, Jawa 42 FJ 350, and Honda CB350RS.
3. Design
The Speed T4 maintains much of the design ethos of the Speed 400 while introducing several notable modifications. It is equipped with a conventional rear-view mirror setup rather than bar-end mirrors, and features blacked-out front forks in place of the golden forks found on the Speed 400. The overall visual appeal continues to reflect the retro-modern roadster aesthetic.
4. Engine
The Triumph Speed T4 is driven by a 398cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that generates 30.6 bhp at 7,000 rpm and 36 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm. Triumph asserts that 85 percent of the maximum torque is accessible from as low as 2,500 rpm, providing robust low-end performance and a seamless riding experience in both urban and highway settings. The engine is paired with a 6-speed transmission featuring a slipper clutch.
5. Features
The Speed T4 is outfitted with a variety of contemporary features designed to improve rider comfort and safety. These features include all-LED lighting, 17-inch alloy wheels, and an analogue speedometer complemented by an integrated multi-function LCD display. The motorcycle's suspension consists of blacked-out 43 mm telescopic forks at the front and a mono-shock setup at the rear. The braking system includes 300 mm front brake discs and 230 mm rear discs, both equipped with dual-channel ABS.
