
2025 Tata Tigor Gets an Upgrade: Introducing the All-New Top Variant

The subcompact sedan market has recently experienced a resurgence, marked by the introduction of several new models. The 2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire made its debut in November 2024, followed by the launch of the 2024 Honda Amaze in December 2024. Additionally, the Tata Tigor received updates in January 2025. Notably, while both the Dzire and the Amaze underwent a complete generational overhaul, the Tigor was refreshed with a facelift that included enhancements to its features and variant offerings.
The 2025 Tata Tigor is priced starting at ₹6 lakh, ex-showroom, maintaining the same entry price as before. The previous base variant, XE, has been discontinued, and the Tigor lineup now begins with the XM variant. Furthermore, a new top-tier variant, the XZ Plus Lux, has been introduced, priced at ₹8.50 lakh, ex-showroom. Below are the features offered by this new top-end variant.
2025 Tata Tigor XZ Plus Lux- Features
The premium variant of the 2025 Tata Tigor is fitted with 15-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, exclusively available in the petrol model, while the CNG variant is equipped with 14-inch wheels. This model also features front fog lamps, automatic headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, auto-folding outside rearview mirrors (ORVMs), and a shark fin antenna. Additionally, chrome-lined door handles enhance its upscale appearance.
Inside the vehicle, a 10.25-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system by Harman provides wireless connectivity for both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, supported by four tweeters to elevate the audio experience. Other notable features include push-button start/stop, fully automatic climate control, a cooled glove compartment, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a front Type-C charging port, a vanity mirror, and magazine pockets. In terms of safety, this variant is equipped with a 360-degree camera system and a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), along with an electronic stability program (ESP) and hill hold control (HHC).
2025 Tata Tigor XZ Plus Lux- Specs
The XZ Plus Lux variant of the subcompact sedan is exclusively offered with a manual transmission for both the petrol and CNG powertrains. The pricing for the petrol variant of the XZ Plus Lux is set at ₹8.50 lakh, whereas the CNG variant is available for ₹9.50 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom.
The Tata Tigor is equipped with a 1.2-liter three-cylinder petrol engine, which can be paired with either a five-speed manual transmission or an automated manual transmission. In the petrol variants, this engine generates 85 bhp and 113 Nm of torque, while the CNG variants deliver 72 bhp and 95 Nm of torque.
