Skoda Auto India is gearing up to unveil the new generation Kodiaq tomorrow, April 17. This marks the arrival of the second generation of the Skoda Kodiaq in the Indian market, and it will take the spotlight as the brand's flagship model in the country.

The SUV is anticipated to arrive in India as a Completely Built-Up (CBU) unit, similar to the previous model. The CBU Kodiaq is expected to be priced around ₹45-50 lakh (ex-showroom). The entry-level Sportline and the premium L&K variants will showcase unique colors like Bronx Gold Metallic and Steel Grey.

This year, the latest version of the Skoda Kodiaq was revealed at the Auto Expo 2025, giving us a sneak peek at the new SUV. The updated Kodiaq embodies Skoda's Modern Solid design approach, featuring notable exterior enhancements like an eye-catching butterfly grille, sleeker angular headlights with fog lights, and redesigned rear lights that include a unique light strip along the tailgate.

The newest Kodiaq comes packed with cutting-edge features, such as a 13-inch touchscreen for infotainment, a 10.25-inch digital display for drivers, and a heads-up display. It also boasts a unique Smart Dial system with three rotary knobs located under the infotainment screen for easy control of different functions. On top of that, you'll find high-end perks like wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 14-speaker Canton sound system, ambient lighting, front seats that adjust with heating and cooling options, a panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, and several USB Type-C ports.

2025 Skoda Kodiaq: Size Specifications

This second-generation SUV is 4,758 mm long, which is 61 mm longer than the previous model. It’s also a bit wider at 1,864 mm and stands at a height of 1,659 mm, with the wheelbase staying the same at 2,971 mm. Plus, the Kodiaq features new alloy wheels that come in sizes from 17 to 20 inches.

2025 Skoda Kodiaq: Powertrain and Performance

The premium SUV is equipped with a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine that generates a peak power of 201 bhp and a maximum torque of 320 Nm. This updated engine offers 14 bhp more than the previous Kodiaq model. Power is sent to all four wheels via a standard 4x4 system, and the new Kodiaq comes with a seven-speed DCT automatic transmission. Skoda has also announced that this latest generation Kodiaq will deliver a fuel efficiency of 14.86 kmpl.
