2025 Skoda Enyaq EV: Design

The latest update to the Skoda Enyaq EV introduces the brand's Modern Solid Design philosophy. This model shares several design elements with the newly unveiled Skoda Elroq, featuring a more streamlined front end compared to its predecessor. Notable changes include concealed sensors, dark chrome Skoda lettering replacing the traditional logo on both the bonnet and tailgate, as well as upgraded LED Matrix headlights and daytime running lights. Additionally, the rear has seen modifications to the LED taillights and bumper.

Moreover, Skoda has expanded the dimensions of the electric SUV with this update. The Enyaq now measures 4,658 mm in length, 1,879 mm in width, and 1,622 mm in height. While the overall length has increased slightly, the height has also risen by approximately two millimeters. The vehicle boasts a wheelbase of 2,765 mm and is equipped with 19-inch alloy wheels, with the option to upgrade to 21 inches depending on the selected variant. Notably, Skoda has reported an improvement in the Enyaq's drag coefficient, which has decreased from 0.264 to 0.245, contributing to an enhanced driving range for the electric vehicle.

The Skoda Enyaq not only boasts an improved aesthetic appeal but also surpasses its predecessor in specifications. It is now available with two battery pack options: a 63 kWh and an 82 kWh variant. In contrast, the previous model featured three battery options, namely a 52 kWh, a 58 kWh, and a 77 kWh unit, which offered a maximum range of up to 510 kilometers on a single charge. The new model's smaller battery is rated for a range of up to 439 kilometers, while the larger battery pack claims a range of up to 597 kilometers.

The Enyaq EV is available with both single and dual electric motor configurations, incorporating rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive systems. The power output varies from 201 bhp to 281 bhp, with peak torque ranging from 310 Nm to 545 Nm, depending on the variant. The top speed of the Enyaq EV is capped at 180 km/h, and it can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.7 seconds. The batteries support DC fast charging with a maximum capacity of 175 kW, allowing for a recharge from 10 percent to 80 percent in under 30 minutes when using a fast charger.

The interior of the Skoda Enyaq has undergone enhancements, showcasing a minimalist aesthetic. It now includes a new steering wheel adorned with Skoda branding, similar to that found in the latest models of the Superb, Kodiaq, and Octavia. Additionally, the Skoda Enyaq offers six distinct interior theme options: Loft, Lodge, Lounge, Eco Suite, Suite, and Sportline. Notably, all these themes incorporate sustainable materials.

The revised Skoda Enyaq now includes a 5-inch display for the driver, complemented by a 13-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Additionally, it boasts a heads-up display, park assist with an innovative remote park assist feature, and the MySkoda application, which has been enhanced with new functionalities. It also offers 45W USB Type-C ports.

Regarding Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) capabilities, side assist and crew protection assist are provided as standard features. Notably, other standard amenities encompass open-on-approach or walk-away locking, three-zone air conditioning, heated front seats, and a tow bar.

2025 Skoda Enyaq EV: India launch and price

While the 2025 Skoda Enyaq EV will make its India debut at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, the launch of the electric SUV is expected later in the year. Expected to be priced at ₹55 lakh, ex-showroom, the new electric SUV will take on other EVs like the Kia EV6, Volvo C40 Recharge, BYD Atto 3 and others.
