The 2025 Porsche 911 Carrera S has made its debut in the global market. This sports car will be available in both coupe and cabriolet variants. Positioned between the Carrera and the GTS within the 911 lineup, the Carrera S for 2025 boasts an expanded array of standard features and enhanced power output directly from the factory.

The vehicle is equipped with a 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged six-cylinder engine, now generating over 470 bhp and 528 Nm of peak torque, representing an increase of 30 bhp compared to the previous model. Porsche has achieved this additional power by incorporating new turbochargers and optimizing the charge-air cooling system, among other modifications. The Carrera S Coupe can accelerate from 0 to 96 km/h in just 3.1 seconds—0.2 seconds faster than its predecessor—when fitted with the Sport Chrono Package, and it can reach a maximum speed of 307 km/h. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via an eight-speed Porsche dual-clutch transmission (PDK).

The new 911 Carrera S uses more leather than the outgoing version to provide a better cabin experience.
Porsche has significantly upgraded the standard features of the Carrera S. These enhancements in performance include a Sport Exhaust system with silver tailpipes and brakes derived from the previous generation 911 Carrera GTS models, featuring dimensions of 408 mm at the front and 380 mm at the rear.

The new dampers, equipped with optimized hydraulics, offer improved responsiveness and ride quality compared to the predecessor. The performance-focused standard features from the earlier model remain intact, such as Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV+) and the 20/21-inch Carrera S wheels. Additionally, Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) are available as an option, along with PASM Sport Suspension, which lowers the ride height by 10 mm. Rear axle steering can also be selected as an option, enhancing agility at lower speeds while providing greater stability at higher speeds. This system includes a quicker steering ratio and modified front axle kinematics.

The 2025 Carrera S models present a notably upgraded interior as a standard feature. Compared to previous iterations, the interior now boasts an increased amount of leather upholstery as standard, covering the seats, headrests, upper dashboard, upper door panels, and, where applicable, the rear seats. In line with other current generation 911 Carrera Coupe models, a two-seat configuration is standard, with the option to add rear seats at no additional cost. For Cabriolet models, rear seats are standard and cannot be removed.
