The 2025 MG Astor Shine now features a panoramic sunroof and comes with six speakers. The refreshed Select variant has also been upgraded to include six airbags and new premium ivory leatherette seats. The Astor Shine is priced at ₹12.48 lakh (ex-showroom) and offers a 1.5-litre petrol engine paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. Meanwhile, the Astor Select starts at ₹13.82 lakh for the manual version and goes up to ₹14.85 lakh for the CVT automatic.

The MG Astor is now offered with two engine choices: a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol and a 1.3-litre turbo petrol. Plus, it comes with 17-inch alloy wheels.

The 2025 MG Astor has some cool features like ventilated front seats, wireless charging, and both wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It also sports an auto-dimming rearview mirror and the upgraded i-Smart 2.0 system, which boasts over 80 connected features. Plus, it includes voice recognition for commands, anti-theft alerts, and digital key options. The higher-end models even offer Level 2 ADAS along with a bunch of other safety features, both active and passive.

The Astor is powered by a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, while the 1.3-litre turbo petrol engine comes exclusively with an automatic transmission. The MG Astor lineup features five variants: Sprint, Shine, Select, Sharp Pro, and Savvy Pro. Prices range from ₹10 lakh to ₹17.56 lakh (ex-showroom).

At the 2025 Auto Expo, MG revealed the updated ZS HEV hybrid, teasing its potential launch in India. Although it was just a showcase, this new ZS HEV is set to replace the ZS (known as Astor in India) and might hit the Indian market soon. In the meantime, MG is preparing to roll out the Cyberster and M9 EVs in the coming weeks through their new 'MG Select' premium dealerships.
