2025 Kia EV6: Design changes

The most significant visual enhancement for the 2025 Kia EV6 is found at the front. The conventional headlight configuration from the previous model has been replaced with more streamlined, angular LED daytime running lights and new headlamps inspired by the Kia EV3 and EV4 concepts. These updated lighting elements contribute to a more futuristic appearance for the redesigned EV6. Additionally, the lower grille and front bumper have been reimagined, providing the vehicle with a more assertive and contemporary front profile compared to its predecessor.

Although the overall silhouette of the EV6 remains unchanged, the facelift brings a fresh aesthetic with the addition of new 19-inch alloy wheels. The 2025 EV6 also preserves much of the original model's character at the rear. The light bar that spans the entire width continues to define the profile, maintaining its distinctive look. There are no new designs for the tailgate or bumper either.

2025 Kia EV6: Cabin and feature changes

One of the standout features of the 2025 EV6 is its innovative curved panoramic display, which seamlessly integrates the digital instrument cluster and infotainment system into a single, cohesive panel. This new design offers a more streamlined appearance compared to the previous configuration in the EV6. Additionally, the latest model introduces wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, enhancements that were absent in the earlier India-specific EV6, which required a wired connection for smartphone integration.

Furthermore, the vehicle is equipped with a new two-spoke D-cut steering wheel, replacing the conventional multi-spoke design found in the pre-2025 version. Another notable advancement is the addition of a fingerprint recognition system on the steering wheel, allowing users to unlock and start the vehicle without a key, thereby enhancing both convenience and security—features that were not present in the outgoing model.

The 2025 EV6 also expands the scope of over-the-air (OTA) updates beyond just maps and navigation, now including essential electronic control systems, enabling the car to receive performance and feature enhancements wirelessly. Additional technological features comprise a virtual rear-view mirror and an updated head-up display (HUD), which now incorporates augmented reality navigation capable of projecting real-time directions onto the windshield.

2025 Kia EV6: Updated battery capacity and range

A significant update in the refreshed 2025 EV6 is the incorporation of Hyundai Motor Group's new 84 kWh battery, which replaces the previously available 77.4 kWh option. This enhancement allows the vehicle to achieve a projected range of 663 km. Additionally, the 2025 EV6 continues to offer ultra-fast 350 kW DC charging capabilities, enabling the battery to be charged from 10 to 80 percent in just 18 minutes.

2025 Kia EV6: Updated specification

The 2025 iteration of the Kia EV6 introduces several mechanical enhancements that distinguish it from the current model available in India. A significant change lies in the drivetrain options. Unlike the previous version, which offered both rear-wheel drive (RWD) and all-wheel drive (AWD) configurations, the new model is exclusively equipped with an AWD system that delivers 320 bhp and 605 Nm of torque.

Additionally, Kia has refined the suspension system by incorporating frequency-selective dampers. These dampers adjust their characteristics according to the road conditions and driving scenarios. Furthermore, improvements have been made to reduce motor noise and vibrations, thereby enhancing the overall cabin experience.

2025 Kia EV6: Updated price

The 2025 Kia EV6 is now offered exclusively in a single GT Line AWD configuration, priced at ₹65.9 lakh (ex-showroom). This marks a shift from the earlier approach, where the pre-facelift EV6 was available in two variants: a rear-wheel-drive (RWD) GT Line priced at ₹60.95 lakh and an all-wheel-drive (AWD) GT Line variant at ₹65.95 lakh (both ex-showroom).
