Indian Motorcycle, the legendary American brand recognized for its heritage cruisers and touring bikes, has introduced two new limited-edition models for 2025 — the Indian Challenger Elite and the Indian Pursuit Elite. The Indian Challenger Elite and the Indian Pursuit Elite combine classic American design, modern engineering, and cutting-edge rider assistance systems, with an international focus that encompasses markets like India.
At the core of both models is the PowerPlus 112 engine — a liquid-cooled V-twin that generates 124 bhp and 181 Nm of torque. This engine, which has already demonstrated its prowess in competitive bagger racing, is engineered for reliable power delivery and smooth acceleration through all gears.
Indian Challenger Elite and Pursuit Elite: Design and colours
The Indian Challenger Elite honors Gene “Alabama Flash" Walker, a racer from the early 20th century who established a land-speed record on an Indian PowerPlus in 1920. Its distinctive design showcases a tri-tone paint scheme that merges Black Candy, Red Candy, and Crystal White Pearl Satin, complemented by hand-painted fades and unique badging. Each unit is uniquely numbered and includes a tribute to Walker’s legendary race bike.
The Indian Pursuit Elite is inspired by the 1916 PowerPlus motorcycles that were provided to the U. S. Army. It is available in Black Candy and Black Forest Candy variations with hand-painted Championship Gold accents, as well as custom badging and numbering for each unit.
Indian Challenger Elite and the Indian Pursuit Elite: Features and comfort
Both motorcycles are outfitted with top-tier components, including inverted front forks, dual radial Brembo brakes, precision-machined alloy wheels, and Metzeler Cruisetec tyres for assured handling. LED lighting, adjustable windshields, and custom floorboards come as standard features. The Challenger Elite provides over 68 litres of storage, while the Pursuit Elite offers more than 140 litres, making both models ideal for long-distance touring. Additionally, the Pursuit Elite includes extra comforts like a stitched, heated seat and heated grips, designed for riding in all weather conditions.
Indian Challenger Elite and the Indian Pursuit Elite: Technology and connectivity
Indian Motorcycle has incorporated its ‘RIDE COMMAND’ infotainment system featuring a 7-inch touchscreen, which supports Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, GPS navigation, and real-time vehicle information. Both models come with a 400-watt premium audio system equipped with adaptive equalisation to guarantee sound clarity even at highway speeds.

Indian Challenger Elite and the Indian Pursuit Elite: Safety and specs
New safety and assistance features consist of Bike Hold Control for starting on inclines, an Electronic Combined Braking system for effective braking, and alert systems for blind spots, following too closely, and rear-end collisions — all operated via the in-dash display.
Moreover, both motorcycles feature electronically adjustable rear suspension preload, enabling riders to modify their bike according to varying load conditions straight from the touchscreen.
Indian Challenger Elite and the Indian Pursuit Elite: Availability
Although Indian Motorcycle has not disclosed the number of units that will be allocated to the Indian market, both the Challenger Elite and Pursuit Elite are listed on the India website and are anticipated to appeal to touring and cruiser fans. Pricing and booking information specific to India will be accessible through authorized Indian Motorcycle dealerships.
