The Hyundai Creta lineup has been refreshed for the 2025 model year, introducing two new variants: EX(O) and SX Premium. In addition to these new variants, enhancements have been made to the top-tier SX(O) trim, while no other mechanical or design modifications have been implemented.
The previous update to the Hyundai Creta occurred in January of last year, which brought a complete redesign along with new features. Since its debut in 2015, Hyundai has reported sales exceeding 1.2 million units of the Creta. The current generation offers three powertrain options, including a 1.5-litre diesel engine available with either a manual or a torque converter automatic transmission. The most favored engine is the 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol variant, which is exclusively paired with a dual-clutch transmission.
The 1.5-litre U2 CRDi engine produces 114 hp and 250 Nm of torque, and it can be coupled with either a six-speed manual or a six-speed torque converter automatic. In contrast, the 1.5-litre turbo-petrol T-GDI engine, which is linked to a seven-speed DCT, generates 160 bhp and 253 Nm of torque. The new Creta is priced between ₹11.11 lakh and ₹20.42 lakh, with both figures representing ex-showroom prices. Below are the details of the new trim levels.
Hyundai Creta: EX(O) variant
Positioned above the EX trim, the new Hyundai Creta EX(O) is priced at ₹12.97 lakh ex-showroom for the petrol variant and ₹14.56 lakh ex-showroom for the diesel variant. The Hyundai Creta SX Premium in its petrol manual variant is priced at ₹16.18 lakh, ex-showroom, and is positioned alongside the SX and SX(O) variants. The IVT variant featuring a petrol engine commences at a price of ₹17.68 lakh, ex-showroom. The diesel variant of the Creta SX Premium starts at an ex-showroom price of ₹17.77 lakh; however, it is important to note that there is no automatic option available for the diesel engine.
