1 Darkened design

The Ducati Scrambler Icon Dark catches the eye with its sleek matte black finish and tinted headlamp. Unlike the regular Scrambler Icon, this version boasts all-black features, such as the engine, alloy wheels, front forks, and frame, which contribute to its bold and stealthy appearance. Additionally, the under-seat cowl has been taken off, setting it apart from the standard model even more.

2 Engine

The Scrambler Icon Dark features the same 803cc air and oil-cooled L-Twin engine as its counterparts. This engine produces 73 bhp at 8,250 rpm and a maximum torque of 65 Nm at 7,000 rpm, and it comes with a six-speed transmission. To enhance the riding experience, Ducati has added a bi-directional quick-shifter for smooth gear changes.

3 Suspension and tires

Constructed with a sturdy steel trellis frame, the Scrambler Icon Dark strikes a perfect balance between stability and nimbleness. It comes equipped with Kayaba upside-down forks in the front and a mono-shock in the back, delivering a smooth suspension system that adapts well to different riding environments. The bike rolls on 18-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels, wrapped in Pirelli MT 60 RS tires for improved traction and overall performance.

4 Features

Ducati has outfitted the Scrambler Icon Dark with a range of contemporary features, such as a 4.3-inch TFT display that offers Bluetooth connectivity. Riders can take advantage of four levels of traction control, cornering ABS, and two riding modes—Road and Sport—allowing for flexibility in various riding styles and conditions.

5 Cost and availability

The Scrambler Icon Dark, priced at ₹9.97 lakh (ex-showroom), is Ducati’s most affordable Scrambler option in India. It’s around ₹94,000 cheaper than the standard Scrambler Icon, making it a great choice for anyone looking for a stylish and performance-driven neo-retro bike. You can now book the new Scrambler Icon Dark, and deliveries have already started.
