The Bajaj Dominar 400 is set for a new look in its 2025 iteration, with recent sightings revealing a fresh instrument cluster. The updated Dominar 400 appears to adopt the LCD-Dot matrix instrument cluster from its sibling, the Pulsar NS400Z, marking a significant technological upgrade. This new system introduces smartphone connectivity for riders, enhancing the riding experience. The fully digital instrument cluster, previously seen in the Pulsar NS400Z, offers features like turn-by-turn navigation and call/SMS alerts. As a result, the small instrument console previously mounted on the fuel tank of the Dominar 400 has been removed.

2025 Bajaj Dominar 400: What are other changes

In addition to the fully digital instrument cluster borrowed from the Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z, the 2025 Bajaj Dominar 400 will feature several other updates, including new colour options. While the bike has seen minimal mechanical changes over the years, it has received periodic colour refreshes and significant dual-exhaust muffler upgrades. It remains to be seen whether the new Dominar 400 will also adopt a redesigned exhaust muffler.

On the powertrain side, the 2025 Dominar 400 is expected to retain the same 373.3 cc engine found in the current model, but with an update to meet the latest OBD-2B emission standards. This could lead to slight changes in the power and torque output, although Bajaj has not yet disclosed specifics. Currently, the Dominar 400 produces 39.42 bhp of peak power and 35 Nm of torque.

Bajaj is also likely to introduce ride-by-wire throttle technology and new riding modes, similar to what was added to the Pulsar NS400Z. With these updates, Bajaj aims to keep the Dominar 400 competitive and appealing in the middleweight motorcycle segment.
