BYD India has announced enhancements to its SUV, the BYD Atto 3, and the BYD Seal electric sedan. The 2025 versions of both models feature updated specifications, including a battery upgrade in the SUV to enhance performance.

In total, BYD's offerings in India comprise four models: the BYD Sealion 7, the BYD Atto 3, the BYD eMAX 7, and the BYD Seal. Rajeev Chauhan, the Head of Electric Passenger Vehicles at BYD India, emphasized that these updates are designed to improve the driving experience for users while aligning with the latest technological developments.

2025 BYD Atto 3: Updates

Having sold over 3,100 units, the BYD Atto 3 now incorporates various enhancements focused on increasing comfort and functionality. The 2025 model showcases a black-themed interior, complete with ventilated seats for both the driver and front passenger. The low-voltage battery has been upgraded to a Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) unit, which is lighter, exhibits lower self-discharge rates, and boasts a lifespan of up to 15 years.

2025 BYD Seal: Updates

In its inaugural year, BYD sold over 1,300 units of the Seal, which also receives multiple updates for 2025. New features include a power sunshade and a silver-plated dimming canopy, alongside an enhanced air-conditioning system equipped with a larger compressor and an advanced air purification module. The Premium variant now features Frequency Selective Dampers (FSD) to enhance ride quality, while the Performance variant is equipped with the DiSus-C intelligent damping system for improved handling and comfort. Additionally, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are now standard, complemented by a new sound wave function aimed at enriching the acoustic experience within the cabin.

2025 BYD Atto 3 and Seal: Pricing and availability

The BYD Atto 3 will offer a reduced price for the initial 3,000 customers. The entry-level BYD Atto 3 Dynamic is priced at ₹24.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The mid-tier BYD Atto 3 Premium is available for ₹29.85 lakh (ex-showroom), while the top-of-the-line BYD Atto 3 Superior will cost ₹33.99 lakh (ex-showroom). This revised pricing will take effect from March 11, 2025.

In addition, reservations for the 2025 BYD Seal will commence on March 11, 2025. The booking fee has been established at ₹1,25,000, with the full pricing details to be revealed in April 2025.
