BMW Motorrad India has released a teaser for the 2025 C 400 GT luxury scooter across its social media platforms, indicating that a launch is forthcoming. The BMW C 400 GT has been available in India since 2021, and the upcoming 2025 model is set to introduce numerous enhancements to this premium scooter. Following a global update last year, the C 400 GT will be introduced in India as a Completely Built Unit (CBU).

2025 BMW C 400 GT: What's New?

The 2025 BMW C 400 GT features updated styling elements, including new stripes on the front apron and a GT decal on the side panels. An international colour option includes white with gold wheels. Enhancements have been made to the storage capacity, with a total increase of 12 litres compared to the previous model. The under-seat storage has expanded by 23 per cent, rising from 30.5 litres to 37.6 litres, now capable of accommodating a 15-inch laptop. Additionally, the front pockets have been enlarged by 12 litres and offer optional features for smartphone charging and cooling. Furthermore, BMW has introduced an adjustable windshield as a standard feature on the new C 400 GT.

The 2025 BMW C 400 GT is equipped with an upgraded 350 cc engine that meets Euro 5+ standards. Additional enhancements include lean-sensitive ABS and traction control, along with Dynamic Brake Control (DBC). This premium scooter now features a standard 6.5-inch TFT display, which significantly enhances both quality and user experience, and is accompanied by the new BMW Motorrad Connected app. Furthermore, BMW provides an optional larger 10.25-inch display for the scooter.

2025 BMW C 400 GT: Specifications 

The 2025 BMW C 400 GT is equipped with an upgraded 350 cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that meets Euro 5+ standards. This engine delivers a power output of 34 bhp at 7,500 rpm and a peak torque of 35 Nm at 5,750 rpm, coupled with a continuously variable transmission (CVT). The scooter features telescopic forks at the front and dual shock absorbers at the rear for enhanced ride quality. Braking is facilitated by disc brakes at both the front and rear.

As the most expensive petrol-powered scooter available in India, the 2025 BMW C 400 GT is anticipated to have an even higher price point. This premium model is expected to be released in limited quantities, ensuring it stands out wherever it appears. It will be intriguing to observe whether BMW will also introduce the C 400 X, the more rugged variant, to the Indian market.
