Maruti Suzuki introduced the latest generation of the Dzire sub-compact sedan in India earlier this month. The fourth-generation Dzire is priced starting at Rs. 6.79 lakh (ex-showroom). In addition to the petrol-only variant, the new Dzire is also offered with a petrol-CNG option. The Maruti Suzuki Dzire CNG has begun to reach dealerships nationwide.

The Dzire CNG is available in VXi and ZXi trim levels, with a starting price of ₹8.74 lakh (ex-showroom). Maruti Suzuki boasts the largest fleet of CNG vehicles in India, surpassing competitors such as Hyundai and Tata Motors. With a diverse array of CNG models, Maruti Suzuki commands a significant share of the petrol-CNG bi-fuel powertrain passenger vehicle market in India. While the CNG variant of the Dzire is primarily marketed towards fleet operators, it is also favored by private consumers due to its lower ownership costs and the increasing availability of CNG.
