Hero MotoCorp is all set to launch the new generation of the Destini 125 scooter in the Indian market. For 2024, Hero has made significant changes in the design language of the Destini 125. The brand recently released a new teaser for the Destini 125 which shows a few of the updates that the updated scooter will come with.
The teaser shows the scooter with a disc brake in the front and we know that at the rear, there would be a drum brake on offer. There would also be a Combi Braking System on offer. There would also be alloy wheels on offer so tubeless tyres can be expected. At the rear, there would be a new tail lamp that would use LED units and the design does seem inspired by the Activa and makes an ‘H’ which stands for Hero.
Unfortunately, the turn indicators on the front apron are still halogen units. But there is a new LED headlamp with a projector setup and a ‘H’ shaped LED Daytime Running Lamp. There would also be a rear backrest for the pillion to make the ride more comfortable. Moreover, Hero will be using copper elements along with a maroon colour for the seat and the trim. There would be new colour schemes on offer as well. This time there is not much chrome on the scooter. It is expected that the scooter will come with new features as well.
It is expected that Hero will not make any changes to the motor. The same 125 cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine will continue to power the vehicle, delivering 9 bhp at 7,000 rpm and 10.4 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. This engine is connected to a continuously variable transmission (CVT).
